Festival café & bar is a place to mingle with artists taking part in the World Theatre Festival Shizuoka 2026. Open in Shizuoka Performing Arts Park during the festival, it’s a cozy locale where audiences can treat themselves to Brazilian coffee and famous Brazilian food such as Feijoada and BBQs — while also enjoying cheerful Brazilian music. In fact it’s the perfect place to stop over after seeing a play such as Natsuki Ishigami’s “Eel Migration” that she created with great help from a cast of Brazilian residents in Shizuoka, and which will be performed at the open-air Udo theatre next to Festa Brazil. So as well as relishing the buzz of seeing a great play, please also enjoy fine food and music from this corner of South America in beautiful Shizuoka.
